ON THE
ISSUES
Sustainable Growth -
Continue to create a Franklin for everyone to enjoy, whether it’s your children moving back after college, or your parents retiring close by. Preserve and protect the natural beauty of open green space and gateways in Franklin. Work with developers to create unique lifestyle living opportunities that are best-in-class and use land wisely.
Health, Safety and Welfare of Citizens
Fully fund and support our police and first responders. Protect our children with cultural values appropriate for all ages. Advocate for standards that will support physical and mental well being in our community.
Budget
Focus on upgrading and improving outdated infrastructure. As we expand in to Urban Growth Boundaries we need to explore fiscally sound options that enhance finance options for this significant expense. Welcome economic development that diversifies, stimulates our tax base, and keeps property taxes in check. Review/cut internal waste, unnecessary regulations/fees. Streamline department operations through technology and innovation, with less dependency on consultants.
